For those of you who don’t know me (if you do you might know me from either my author page or my lifestyle website), I’m currently in the process of writing a book on CV writing to help you get into employment.
A major part of my work is going over CVs with unemployed clients. I’ve not once been handed a CV where I’ve thought “This is ready to submit to an employer”, which has come as quite a shock. With a massive demand for jobs at the moment, and with more people unemployed than ever, I’ve decided I want to do something about.
‘The CV Method’, to be published early next year, will guide those of you that are stuck on their CV through the whole process, from the blank page to the finished product. I’ll be teaching a method I use that I’ve seen work firsthand, which will help you to write the CV that will get you the job you want. I’ll be including tons of resources, and a whole bunch of example CVs with annotations to show how they’ve been updated from ‘not so great’ to ‘highly employable’. I’ll also be answering any further questions you might have through my Facebook page, and on this blog.
As well as that, I want to use this blog to find other aspiring authors, published authors, and people in the employability sector. Most of all though, I want to find people that can benefit from ‘The CV Method’, so I can share that knowledge with you.
